Frances Ann (Clapp) Noble
Frances Noble, age 71, of Skiatook went to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Clarehouse in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Frances was born July 20, 1949 in Ponca City, Oklahoma to Carl and Johnnie W. (White) Clapp. She grew up and received her education in Shidler, Fairfax, and Burbank where she graduated in 1967. After high school she attended Kansas State Special School of Computer Programming. She married George “Alex” Noble on February 7, 1970 in Big Bend, Oklahoma near Ralston and they made their home in Tulsa, Fairfax, Broken Arrow, and Oklahoma City before moving to Skiatook in 1974. Frances worked for Mustang Fuel, General Electric, University of Tulsa, Automated Computer Tech, and Oklahoma Security Commission, before leaving work to help Alex start Noble’s Meat Market in Skiatook. She also served as church secretary and on the board of trustees, was a homeroom mother when her boys were little, a member of PEO chapter AG, taught Sunday School, and she loved to support the food bank, SEAC, and OETA. Frances loved her plants, flowers, working outside, going to farmers markets and antique stores, and driving around just to see new things. Most of all she loved spending time with her family.
Frances was preceded in death by her husband: Alex, parents: Carl and Johnnie, and sister: Virginia Ross.
Frances is survived by her sons: Jesse Noble and Nick Noble and wife Katina, grandchildren: Preston Noble and Erin Noble, siblings: Carlene Harbeson, Johnnie Grace Duggan, Carl Clapp Jr., Chris Christopher, and David Clapp, several nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
