Helen Mae (Bradshaw) Redman

Funeral services for Helen Redman will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 30, 2019 at Immanuel Baptist Church in Skiatook with Rev. Kemp Holden officiating. Interment will follow in the Osage Gardens Cemetery under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.

Helen Redman was born January 25, 1930. On May 25, 2019 at the age of 89 she went on to her final reward.

Helen was born and raised in Skiatook, Oklahoma to Thomas and Beulah (Jolly) Bradshaw. Helen grew up and received her education in Skiatook graduating from Skiatook High School. In 1945 she married Henry F. Redman and five years later entered the ministry as a pastor’s wife, missionary and teacher for the next 69 years. In 1982 Henry Redman Christian Missionary Association to reach the primitive areas of the world and to establish Bible Trained Pastoral Leadership among their own people. Since the Lord took him home on July 6 1986, the work continued under the leadership of Helen.

Helen traveled to 22 third world countries: Philippines, Peru, Haiti, Costa Rica, Russia, Estonia, Ecuador, Hong-Kong, Italy, Fiji Islands, Uganda, Paraguay, India, China, Romania, Moldova, Belgium, Holland, Korea, Siberia, South Africa, and Singapore. Her Main focus was teaching ladies on self-esteem and their identity in Christ. She lived to encourage women and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents: Thomas and Beulah, and her husband: Henry.

Helen is survived by her son: Don Redman, daughter Shirley Randall, 6 grandchildren 10 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
