Jack Eugene Walkup

Jack Walkup, age 81, of Skiatook went to be with his Lord and Savior Monday, November 22, 2021 in Skiatook, Oklahoma.

Jack was born August 27, 1940 in Hectorville, Oklahoma to James Harvey and Delsie (Simmons) Walkup. He grew up and received his education in Roswell, New Mexico and Skiatook graduating from Skiatook High School in 1958.After high school he served in the United States Navy from 1958 until 1960. On September 2, 1961 Jack married Latha Lynn Langley in Pawhuska, Oklahoma and they made their home in Skiatook. Jack was a self-employed employed blacksmith, a welder, a machinist, a security guard for Tulsa World and Osage Casino and a volunteer at The Corp of Engineers at Keystone Dam. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Skiatook and served as a Deacon under Rev. Dale Nielsen. Jack enjoyed fishing, traveling, carving wood spirits, making doll houses and studying the Bible.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents James and Delsie, sister: Sennalee Divelbiss, and brother: Lloyd Walkup.

Jack is survived by his wife: Latha, children: Cindy Crain, and Jackie McGee, grandchildren: Dale Crain, Jack Crain, Derrick Crain, Jessica Wasson, and Justin McGee, great grandchildren: Ethan Starks, Kenlee McGee, Jack Daniel Crain, Luke Danger Crain, Brailyn Crain, and Holter Crain, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.  

Latha Lynn (Langley) Walkup

Lynn Walkup, age 79, of Skiatook went to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday, January 23, 2022 in Skiatook, Oklahoma.

Lynn was born March 24, 1942 in Cleveland, Oklahoma to Hardy Daniel and Glenna V. (Marshall) Langley. She grew up and received her education in Skiatook graduating from Skiatook High School in 1960. After high school she attended beauty college. On September 2, 1961 Lynn married Jack Eugene Walkup in Pawhuska, Oklahoma and they made their home in Skiatook. Lynn owned and operated her own beauty shop called Lynn’s Beauty Shop. She also worked for Parker Drilling, the Zuker Baucher in Cleveland, Oklahoma, and The Corp of Engineers at Keystone Dam. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Skiatook. Lynn enjoyed painting portraits.

Lynn was preceded in death by her husband: Jack, and parents: Daniel and Glenna.

Lynn is survived by her children: Cindy Crain, and Jackie McGee, grandchildren: Dale Crain, Jack Crain, Derrick Crain, Jessica Wasson, and Justin McGee, great grandchildren: Ethan Starks, Kenlee McGee, Jack Daniel Crain, Luke Danger Crain, Brailyn Crain, and Holter Crain, brothers: Lane Langley, Elton Langley, Steve Langley, Clay Langley, sister: Messanna Anderson, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
