Julia Fay (Ferguson) Blankenship

Julia Fay Blankenship, age 69, of Collinsville went to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday, November 26, 2022 in Tulsa.
 
Julia was born December 26, 1952 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Sterling Julius and Leola Monnie (Pearson) Ferguson. Julia grew up and received her education in Tulsa graduating from McClain High School in 1971. Julia also attended Tulsa Beauty School where she received her Cosmetology licenses.  Julia married Tracy Blake Blankenship on October 11, 1974 in Tulsa making their home in Turley, Sperry, Skiatook and moved to Collinsville in 2013 where she has lived since that time. Julia worked in Food Management and was a team leader for Whirlpool until her retirement in 2018. Julia was a member of the Valley View Baptist Church in Tulsa. Julia loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and other family and friends. 
 
Julia was preceded in death by her mother and father; Leola and Sterling Ferguson, husband; Tracy Blankenship, one brother; Donald Sterling Ferguson, two son-in-law’s; Bret Eliot Henson and Covey Joe McGaha and daughter-in-law; Kimberly Ann Blankenship.
 
Julia is survived by her children; Deborah Kay McGaha, Sterling Dean Blankenship and wife Cynthia, Michael Lane Blankenship and wife Annie, David Wayne Blankenship, Phyllis Jean Sheofee and wife Becky Sheofee and Kayla Fay Henson, three sisters; JoAnn Lowe, Teresa Elizabeth Robbins and Barbara Jean Forbes, fourteen grandchildren, twenty-one  great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
 
The family of Julia Blankenship entrusted her care and services to Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
