Leonard Ralph Manry
Leonard Manry, age 88, of Skiatook went to be with his Lord and Savior Wednesday, January 5, 2022 in Owasso, Oklahoma.
Leonard was born November 25, 1933 in Hominy, Oklahoma to Delmas Ralph and Jessie Retha (Pool) Manry. He grew up and received his education in Avant, Oklahoma and graduated from Avant High School in 1952. After High School Ralph joined the U.S. Marines and served from 1952 to 1961. Ralph married Naomi Sue Demars on February 8, 1960 in Arkansas and they made their home in Sperry. Ralph became an Air Traffic Controller for FAA in 1961 and retired in 1983. He also was a farmer drove a Pepsi truck and worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company. He was a member of the First Baptist Church. Ralph enjoyed building 55 Chevys, he restored a Model T, and he loved his race horses.
Ralph was preceded in death by his mother and father: Jessie and Delmas.
Ralph is survived by his wife: Naomi Manry, children: Pamela Sue Manry, Dustin Wade Manry, and Tina Lay, brother: Larry Paul Manry, sisters: Bonnie Starks, Jo Alice Street, Connie Sizemore, Larry Paul Manry, nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
