Martha Carol Smith

Martha (Marti) Carol Smith, age 72 of Bartlesville went to be with her Lord and Savior Friday, September 25, 2020.

Martha was born January 21, 1948 in Salida, Colorado to Charles and Erma Jean (Clay) Scroggs. Martha grew up and received her education in Salida, Colorado and graduated from George Washington High School in Denver, Colorado in 1966. Later she attended the Tulsa Community College where she received her Associates Degree. Martha worked for Interim Health Care and Seniors INC. in Aurora, Colorado and for the St. John Health Care System in Tulsa where she was in Human Resources. Martha was a member of the Hope Community Church in Tulsa.

Martha was preceded in death by her mother and father, two sisters and one brother.

Martha is survived by her children: Howard Smith and wife Luciana, Heather Buchanek and husband Korey, and Alice Keller; six siblings: Ames Scroggs, Clay Scroggs, George Scroggs and Aaron Scroggs, Kathlene McKinney and Joy Scroggs; nine grandchildren: Connor, Calvin, Coltrane and Casey Smith, Hannah, Carter, Seth and Kai Buchanek and James Talamantes Keller; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family of Martha Smith entrusted her care and services to Sien-Shelton Funeral Home Skiatook.

In lieu of flowers that family has asked that a donation be made in her memory to The Barbara Davis Center or The National Fragile X Foundation.
