Maudie Louise (Smith) Yarbrough

Maudie Louise Yarbrough, age 86, of Skiatook went to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, May 20, 2020 in Collinsville.

Funeral services for Maudie Yarbrough will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at the First Baptist Church West Rogers Campus with Rev. Heath Tucker and Rev. Gary Butler officiating. A private family interment will follow in the Osage Gardens Cemetery under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.

Maudie was born October 28, 1933 in the hollow near Hartshorn, Missouri to Lester and Martha (Stewart) Smith. Maudie grew up and received her education in Skiatook where she graduated in 1951. Maudie married Jack Afton Yarbrough on July 13, 1952. Maudie was employed with the Town of Skiatook where she was a clerk until her retirement. Maudie loved spending time with her family and friends and loved to read. Maudie was known as a Prayer Warrior in Skiatook.

Maudie was preceded in death by her mother and father, husband Jack and by four sisters.

Maudie is survived by her two children; David Yarbrough and wife Kelli and Denise Juby and husband James, two sisters; Judy Smith and Shirley Catlett, two brothers; Jim Smith and Frank Smith, three grandchildren; Josh Yarbrough, Jacob Yarbrough and Jamie Juby, three great grandchildren; Adelynn Yarbrough, Sadie Yarbrough and Cameron Meade, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers for the service will be; Emit Yarbrough, Billy Yarbrough, Gary Yarbrough, Terry Morgan, Kenny Cryder and Johnny Hayes.

Music for the services will be performed by; Scott Neighbors and Matt and Darla Neighbors.

The family of Maudie Yarbrough entrusted her care and services to the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
