Charles Walker Hays

 Charles Walker Hays passed from this life on November 9, 2017, surrounded by  so many of the lives he touched. He was born on July 7, 1936 in Hominy, Oklahoma to James Olen and Charletta Gustavus Hays, who preceded him in death, as well as two brothers, James Vaughn Hays and Johnny Dennis Hays. He was married on February 1, 1955 to Phyllis Jean Deering and is survived by her, as well as a sister Shirley Ann Sweeten, two daughters, Sandy Jean Bryan and Linda Annette Yarbrough and two sons Charles Walker Hays, Jr. and Timothy Jo and wife Kimra Lynne Hays, 5 grandchildren Jaryd and wife Meredith Bryan, Whitney and husband Josh Wenzel, Denton Hays,  Madilynne Hays, and Dylan Hays and 1.5 great grandchildren Eli Perry and Baby Wenzel. Charles and Phyllis chose Skiatook to raise their family, while he worked in Tulsa as an offset printer and worked evenings starting an insurance business that he grew into a successful full time agency.
