I have so many Happy Memories of our two families spending many many fun times while back in our Avant Days. We went somewhere together almost every weekend. Lake, Creek, Pond....and our yearly Tulsa Zoo Trip! Times we get together while our parents played cards or dominos.
Just wanted you to know how precious those memories are to me. Charla, you have been the Best sister to Poot! You endured one of the hardest illness a family has to face. God Bless you and your family. God Thank you for Poot! She is with her Heavenly Family and we will see her again!

To the family, forty-seven years ago Shirley was best friends with Brenda Dowell. They were the best of friends and Brenda cherished Shirley's friendship. With tragic results from an ill advised surgery, Brenda passed away. Shirley being only 12 years old, was a very special blessing to Brenda's mother. Shirley told this grieving mother of a dream she had in which she and Brenda were reunited in class. She made several visits and showed a compassion beyond one's expectations of such a young child.
It causes much sadness to learn that this terrible disease affected such a lovely person. Our thoughts reflect back to the kindness shown by such a young girl at a very difficult time. to our family. May these friends again meet in the life beyond this world we know.

Hello Dennis! I am Poot's sister, Charla (King) Head. We both thought about Brenda and your family alot. We love Brenda just like a sister! It is so good to hear from you!! I never knew of the dream she told your mom. Poot had a horrible disease and suffered so much. It's peaceful just knowing she is no longer in pain. Thank you so much for your kind words and thoughts.
